Royal Auping B.V., Hogeschool Saxion, Spinning Jenny B.V., Textile4Ever B.V. and CuRe Technology B.V. are working within this project on the develoment of innovative circular solutions for replacing various materials in prototype box springs, bed models and other bedroom textiles. The aim is to expand the circularity of the product range of Royal Auping B.V. and to increase the circularity within the textile and furniture chain by developing and validating prototype circular bed models and box springs. In this project we will also validate a combined mechanical and chemical recycling process for circular textile waste streams, as well as the validation of the reuse of recycled textiles into new textiles.
